On the lower temperature setting, it is soft and warm enough. I am glad that fall is coming so that I can use this electric blanket early, let's see how it performs.

I have been using this blanket for 2 years now and have had no problems, it gives off good heat and is great value for money! I love it!!!

didn't use it as a cover, I just put it on the couch as a slipcover so I could keep warm at night while watching TV. It actually worked pretty well, I would suggest adding a second blanket would work even better.

I can say it has improved my sleep quality tremendously. I turn this blanket on about half an hour before bed so that when I get in it is warm and I can fall asleep easily without having to wait half an hour to fall asleep like I used to.

This blanket is great, heats up fast, and is very warm and soft. My only issue is that it doesn't get very hot even on the highest setting. To me, it's just lukewarm, not hot. If you're buying this just to keep warm, then this is not the right blanket. If you're going to use it as an air conditioning blanket, then this is a good blanket.
