Totally recommend

It is very soft and maintains a soft texture after washing. It's a bit thin, so if you use one of the sides, you can feel the wires

Keeping your legs warm and living in an old house helps with watching TV on cold nights. When you have mild arthritis in your knees, this helps cool airflow without making the heat too high. So far it is working as expected.

Perfect for cold winter days

I bought this blanket for my cat because my apartment stays cold with or without the heater and she loves it so much. It's a bit small for a taller person to lie underneath and be covered, but it's perfect for cats. I would say that, personally, the heat above level 3 is very warm, almost hot, and I would be cautious about turning it up.
